Feeling sad, beach pics

Pranged my car yesterday…not sure if it’ll be written off or not….feeling sad. I don’t know if I have enough finances for a new one. And also sad because we can’t go out driving occasionally like we normally do, to remain sane. Luckily we visited Brunswick Heads on Tuesday, and we had a great day, on the beach and in little shops. (Good coffee too!) The beach has been somewhat damaged by the recent storm surges and the river was running very high, a big swell at the river mouth. But the day was pleasant and no wind on the beach. Eventually the sky started to clear from the west. A beautiful day out.

2 Paintings in Clayfield College Art show

Two of my semi abstract landscapes are being shown in the Clayfield College art show, ¬†“Inspired”¬†opening 29 May till 31 May.These haven’t been shown before. I enjoyed making them, and they reference aspects of landscape found in the Northern Rivers area of north east NSW….quite a rainy place, actually.
