Today I’ve added two new paintings into Gallery 1; Both speak about disconnection and loss of the natural world. “Come adrift” tells of our disconnection from nature and each other, hence the metaphor, “come adrift”, similar to the idea of continental drift. “Last coral shelf” speaks about the death and destruction of our heritage, the Great Barrier Reef. These artworks are abstract and use colourful shapes, linear drawn-style work, and spots of contrasting colour. They are acrylic paint on stretched canvas and both works can be purchased at https://bluet.hm/SusanL
